Perfect for daily cleansing, our naturally alkaline, extra soft sponges will gently exfoliate and purify the skin to stimule blood flow and encourage skin regeneration. Perfect for oily, combination and hormonal skin, Bamboo Charcoal contains activated carbon to deeply cleanse, absorbing excess sebum and grime to help prevent blemishes and breakouts. Made using fibre from the root of the Konjac plant, this silky sponge is rich in essential vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Use it daily to cleanse and to help maintain the optimal pH balance of the skin.
How to use:
- Before use soak thoroughly for 3-5 minutes in warm water.
- Gently massage face and décolletage in a circular motion.
- If using additional cleansers use half your usual amount
- After use, clean and rinse well. Dry thoroughly. Sterilise with boiling water once a week.
- Use in place of cotton wool pads, washcloths, wipes or artificial sponges.
Caution / Only use when sponge is fully hydrated. Replace every 2-3 months, discard when sponge starts to break down. Not for consumption. Keep away from children and animals.

I hadn't heard of this brand before receiving it as part of my Glossybox 2018 Advent Calendar. The thought of the sponge sounded great, for someone like me who occasionally goes through bad parches with poor skin, I like to test loads of facial products to assist with this. This sponge, you have to soak for 3-5 minutes in order to soften it up, as when you first remove it from the packaging, it is very solid. But once that is out of the way, you simply just have to work it around your face in circular motions. I could definitely feel a difference once I'd used it. The original smell I wasn't too keen on when I first opened it, but it fades a lot once used. I will definitely use this again. It is recommended to throw away and use another one after 3 months or so o when it starts to fall apart.

My new favourite
I never heard of konjac sponges before so I didn't know what to expect and I was very positively suprised. I have an oily skin with acne which in addition is extremely delicate which makes it hard for my to find a good exfoliating products as most of them irritate my skin. But this sponge is so amazing. It doesn't seem like much, but I've been using it for a month now and I can see a difference. It looks like I have less blackheads and other imperfections. I highly recommend this sponge and I already bought another one for myself.
