Love Island Series 7 starts on ITV2 on Monday 28th June... So, get ready to gather round the 'firepit' every night, (okay, so it's really our TV but we can dream), put on our favourite I Saw It First dress, a full face of makeup and enjoy a few weeks of our favourite guilty pleasure.
But, while we wait, I'm going to see if I can make your 'head turn' away from some of your favourites, and introduce you to some new makeup must-haves that past islanders have in their collection. I've done the 'grafting' for you - if sitting on the sofa and watching their YouTube channels for hours counts as grafting, then I have gone full factor 50! - and put together a full face based on our favourite Love Island girls' must-have makeup!
So, let's 'crack on'...Primer
Molly-Mae's YouTube channel has over 1.5 million subscribers and her Molly Mae x Beauty Works Collection keeps getting bigger. It's very clear she has made a big impact in the influencer world since leaving the villa. In one of her updated Makeup Routines, she explains she was recommended the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base by fellow islander Belle Hassan. I mean it's 'girl code' to give your friends tips on how to get bright, hydrated skin right?
Foundation
Montana Brown's YouTube channel is so funny and covers so much! Just like the foundation she uses in her Cheryl Hole Transformed Me Into A Drag Queen video. Montana opts for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Luminous Foundation - 'on paper', this foundation states its flashback free and long-wearing with a luminous matte finish and it delivers exactly that!
Concealer
Now you know you're a YouTuber when you make a My Boyfriend Does My Makeup video. Which is exactly what Molly Smith from series six did. Now they say 'never trust a scaffolder', but on this one occasion we can. During the video Callum uses Molly’s lightweight, ultra-hydrating Nars Cosmetics Radiant Creamy Concealer to give Molly a medium-high coverage.
Powder
I think I'm not alone when I say Maura Higgins was a delight to watch. Which she also is in her Go-To Makeup YouTube video, where she introduces us to her Inglot x Maura collection and also uses the Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder. In true Maura style - "Are you jokin?" No! - it actually does set your base for 12 hours!
Bronzer
Series 2 star Kady Mcdermott, in her Going Out Makeup video, uses the benefit Hoola bronzing powder to give herself a natural sun-kissed glow. Kady was a makeup artist before entering the villa, so I'm going to 'put all my eggs in one basket' and go ahead and trust her judgement.
Blush
Everyone's best friend Shaughna Phillips uses L'Oréal Paris Life's A Peach Blush to give her cheeks a radiant glow in her Go To Make Up video. Peach scented, high-pigmented AND under £10! "Congrats hun", you've got a bargain!
Highlighter
The villa’s queen of headbands Francesca Allen swipes MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish across her cheekbones in her Natural Glow Up Tutorial. Creamy and blendable, this stays put for 10 hours. "It's loyal babes!"

Series 4 and Made in Chelsea star Zara Mcdermott gets 'good vibes', instant definition and shape from NYX Professional Makeup Tinted Brow Mascara in her Makeup and Skin Routine video. Getting your brows looking..."oh 100%".
Eyeshadow
Our current winners Paige Turley and Finn Tapp also joined the Boyfriend Does My Makeup 'society' with over half a million views. When Finn attempted to give Paige a makeover, he picked up her Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette with 12 velvety, rich shades to attempt a smokey eye look. Now, I don't know 'where his head was at', but it definitely wasn't in a MUA frame of mind!
Mascara
In her Self-Isolation Makeup Routine, we see ex-Casa Amour babe Joanna Chimonides use a mascara on her lower lash line. Spotting that bright yellow lid, she must be using Maybelline The Colossal Go Extreme Mascara to define and enhance her lashes for maximum definition. It's buildable so this is the only time it's okay to 'lay it on thick' to achieve a more dramatic look.
