Until you try it, I can’t convey quite how effective this scrub really is – but I can explain why it works so well:
- Papaya fruit extracts works to smooth your skin and increase its clarity, giving it a radiant glow.
- Pineapple fruit extract helps to gently exfoliate your skin, soothe your complexion and reduce the appearance of dark spots.
- BHA & AHAs (also known as alpha hydroxy acids and beta hydroxy acids) help to exfoliate dead skin cells, reduce dark spots and even out your skin texture.

Who Can Use It?
You’ll be happy to learn that this scrub is suitable for all skin types. Huda recommends using it one to two times a week, but it is suitable to be used every day if you want. Just avoid applying it more than twice weekly if you have sensitive skin.
Your Spa Routine
As those of you out there who use Huda Beauty products will already know, Huda Kattan always intends for her products to be used in a particular way. So listen up! Here’s how to make the most of your scrub:
- Start With Clean, Dry Skin: Unlike other scrubs, this one should be applied onto dry skin, otherwise you won’t get as effective a peeling action. So, cleanse your skin, then pat it dry with a towel before applying your scrub.
- Dot The Scrub Onto Your Face: Squeeze a small amount of scrub into your hand, then dab it onto your cheeks, chin and t-zone using your fingertips.
- Massage It In: Then, use gentle circular motions (make sure that you don’t apply too much pressure!) to massage it into your skin. You should start to feel dead skin cells peeling away.
- Rinse Off: After a couple of minutes, or when all the dead skin has peeled away, rinse your face with warm water and gently pat your skin dry.
- Follow Up With Moisturiser: You should then hydrate your skin with a moisturiser. The Avant Supreme Hyaluronic Acid Anti-oxidising DUO Moisturiser from this month's box should do the trick nicely!
