Milky Jelly Cleanser
I don’t know about you, but my favourite time of the day is when I get to wipe off all of my makeup and cleanse my skin. I find the whole process really relaxing and love that fresh-faced feeling. So you can trust me when I tell you that I have tried A LOT of cleansers. One of my favourites, though, has to be Glossier’s Milky Jelly Cleanser.
Why? Because its gentle formula not only washes away dirt and oil, but actually removes eye makeup too. You see, it boasts the same cleansing agents that are found in contact lens solutions which make it safe for your eyes. Plus, it is formulated with five skin conditioners that balance the pH of your skin, preventing irritation.
How To Apply It
You just need to apply one pump onto each eyelid, close your eyes, gently massage the cleanser into your lid and lashes for about 30 seconds, then wash it off. You should then apply two pumps to your whole face, massage it into your skin to clean the rest of your complexion, then rinse. In the morning, you can skip the first step and just apply it straight onto your face.
Your skin will feel soothed, purified and nourished. Honestly, it’s such an addictive feeling!
Solution Exfoliating Skin Perfector
I’ll be honest, one of the main reasons why I don’t exfoliate as often as I probably should is because I’m not a big fan of exfoliators that have pearls or beads in them. I just don’t like the harsh feeling against my skin. That’s why I was so pleased to discover Glossier’s Exfoliating Skin Perfector.
Unlike physical scrubs, this exfoliator doesn’t rely on those beads. Instead, it is formulated with three acids (an AHA, a BHA and a PHA) which get rid of dead skin cells without any scrubbing. You just infuse a cotton pad with the water-like solution, sweep it over your complexion and let it work its magic. It will reduce the appearance of blemishes, redness and enlarged pores with each use. It’s the gentlest way of making your skin look smoother, softer and glowier.
Insider Tip: While it can be used on all skin types, it is particularly effective on oily and acne-prone complexions.
Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid
I’ll admit it, I have a bit of a soft spot for face oils. They just give your skin a dewy, glowing and cared-for look, even if you’ve neglected your skincare routine for a few days. I do tend to apply mine in the evening so that it has time to absorb into my skin, though. So, I’ve been on the hunt for one that is light enough to use in the morning – and I’ll forever be grateful to Glossier for introducing me to their Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid.
Formulated with nourishing oils and brightening plant-based extracts, it moisturises your skin for up to 12 hours. Plus, it gives your skin a beautiful sheen that makes it seriously glowy when it catches the light.
Basically, it has all of the benefits of a face oil (think deeply nourishing formula and gleaming complexion) without feeling greasy. In fact, it’s as lightweight as a serum and you only need 1 to 2 pumps to cover your whole face. I’m in love!
How To Apply It
To get the full dewy effect, apply it as the last step of your skincare routine. Just massage it into your complexion to make it look brighter and feel more nourished. Oh and don’t be alarmed by this oil/serum’s peach-toned formula. It will become completely clear when you massage it in.
