Day Five: The Body Shop – Hand Cream 30ml
You can never have too many hand creams this time of year. Trying to keep your hands hydrated when the weather is constantly changing, the heating is always on and you’re repeatedly washing your hands is a nightmare! That’s why we included a compact hand cream from The Body Shop in our Advent Calendar.
The ultimate handbag essential, this hand cream will keep your skin hydrated on-the-go.
You will have received one of four scents:
- Almond: Blending sweet almond oil and shea butter, this hand and nail cream leaves skin feeling soft and silky in no time.
- Mango: Boasting a tropical mango scent, this one is a treat for both your skin and your senses. It softens and protects your hands, while leaving them smelling fresh.

Day Three: GLOSSYBOX – Blending Sponge
On the third day of advent, you will have unwrapped a pink blending sponge housed in gorgeous packaging that matches your Advent Calendar.
Two-sided, this vegan and cruelty-free sponge boasts both a flat and round edge that allows you to create a flawless base. Here’s how:
- Applying Foundation: Dampen your sponge, then use the flat side to gently pat on your liquid or cream foundation. Next, use the round edge to blend it in and create a seamless finish.
- Applying Concealer: Dampen your sponge, then use the round edge to apply and blend your concealer under your eyes. The curved edge is ideal for blotting in those hard to reach areas.
- Contouring: If you’re using powder, keep your sponge dry, or, if you’re using creams or liquids, dampen your sponge. Next, use the angled edge to draw a sharp line along your cheekbones, down your nose and along your hairline. Finish by blending and blotting it in to soften your contour. Repeat until you’ve achieved your desired look.
- Highlight And Blush: You can also use the round edge to pat on your blush and highlighter.
The beauty of this sponge really does lie in how multi-purpose it is!
