Last week, we traveled down to Covent Garden in London to host our second annual Beauty Hunt as part of the first-ever London Beauty Week. It was so much fun!

GLOSSYBOX Beauty Hunt Makes A Comeback

London Beauty Week

Following the success of last year’s event, we decided to host another beauty hunt around Covent Garden.

On Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th of September, we spent the afternoon hiding 90 Golden Tickets around the iconic Piazza and posted clues on our Instagram to help Glossies seek them out.

I had such a good time looking for the Golden Tickets! I came last year but wasn’t successful, so I’m thrilled to have found one this time around.

Each lucky ticket finder was treated to a goodie bag filled with GLOSSYBOX merchandise and an extra-special prize from some of the hottest brands out there, including Charlotte Tilbury, NARS and Deciem.

A Thank You To All The Brands

We worked with 9 incredible brands this London Beauty Week – and we’re so grateful that they helped us to make this such an exciting and thrilling event for you all!

Penhaligons, Deciem, Charlotte Tilbury, Miller Harris, Trevor Sorbie, NARS, Floral Street, Africology and Atelier Cologne provided prizes for all of our lucky winners.

I can’t believe I won a full-size Charlotte Tilbury magic cream!

About London Beauty Week

From the 11th to the 15th of September, Covent Garden and the British Beauty Council came together to bring you the first-ever London Beauty Week.

A takeover of the iconic Piazza, it included the return of our Beauty Hunt, as well as pop-up stands from brands like Miller Harris, Weleda, Molton Brown and Spectrum Collections.

We were so pleased to be a part of the event and it was a pleasure meeting so many lovely Glossies.

Beauty Banks Asked For Donations

London Beauty Week’s official charity partner was Beauty Banks. They joined forces to raise awareness about the need for people living in homeless shelters and temporary accommodation to have access to sanitary products.

For the whole five days, Covent Garden was home to a designated donation spot where beauty lovers could drop off unused beauty products.

If you want to find out more about a similar charity, Give and Makeup, check out this article.
