The Queen is celebrating her 94th birthday today, so, in honour of her big day, I thought I’d share the beauty products that have received her royal stamp of approval. From lipsticks, to hand creams and nail polishes, these are six of the Queen's favourite beauty products.
1. The Queen’s Favourite Lipstick
Famously, Elizabeth Arden has held the royal seal of approval since 1962 - and the Queen hasn’t wavered in her choice since.
She’s often spotted applying her Beautiful Colour Moisturising Lipstick at royal occasions, favouring a bold lip over all else.
2. Her Preferred Moisturiser
When it comes to the Queen’s favourite beauty products, Clarins is at the top of the Queen’s skincare wishlist. In fact, the French beauty brand holds a Royal Warrant for the Queen’s skincare and she reportedly uses their Hand And Nail Treatment Cream everyday.
3. Her Go-To Nail Polish
While the Queen famously dresses head-to-toe in bold and colourful outfits, her choice of nail polish is far more understated.
For close to 30 years, she’s been wearing Essie’s award-winning, bestselling classic pale pink shade Ballet Slippers. Did you know that Meghan Markle chose to wear this nail polish hue on her wedding day as a tribute to the Queen?
4. Her Signature Scent
In terms of perfume, the Queen is reportedly a big fan of Floris’ 1976 Eau De Parfum.
Floris is the oldest independent family-run perfumers in the world. They specialise in luxurious fragrances, so it’s no surprise that this high-end brand has received both the Queen and Prince Charles’ endorsement.
5. Her Favourite Bath And Shower Products
Everyone loves Molton Brown’s bath and shower gels – and that includes the royal family! Since 2013, the British brand has held a Royal Warrant, proving they’re among the Queen’s favourite beauty products.
I like to imagine that she uses their Fiery Pink Bath And Shower Gel to cheer herself up at the end a long day, and that Coco & Sandalwoodis her favourite scent, just like me.
6. Her Chosen Soap
Also among the Queen’s favourite beauty products are Yardley soaps – and she isn’t the only Royal to have requested that they be stocked in Buckingham Palace.
Over its 250-year history, this British soap country has held six Royal Warrants to different members of the royal family. If I was to take a guess, I reckon they stick to the traditional Original English Lavender Soap.
