It might not feel quite like spring yet, but if you’re ready to embrace a fresh aesthetic after all the full-on glamour of party season, it’s not too early to look to the Spring 2018 beauty trends.
Seen on the runway at New York, London, Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks last September, we’ve been dying to try a few of these out IRL. Now, that Christmas and New Year’s Eve are done and dusted, we feel it’s finally time!
From cute hair accessories to the glitter you can wear in spring and lip looks that’ll lighten everything up, here are 5 of the easiest S/S18 beauty trends to start wearing now.
Rosy Lips
Red lipstick never goes out of style, of course. But for Spring this year textures are lightening up (try glosses, balms, stains and oils), while shades go rosy. Swap deep or dark reds for shades of cherry, coral, raspberry and even tomato red—just keep it bright and light.

Pretty Sparkle
Seen at Topshop, Givenchy, Jeremy Scott and more, sparkle isn’t going anywhere. But while party season glitter is all about full-on bling, S/S18 glitz has a more ethereal spin. Think delicate shimmers in pale pastel colours, and just a sprinkling over eyelids and cheekbones.

Nail Art Returns
Maybe it never left your nails, but nail art is back for the masses in a big way this season, the only twist—it’s all about minimal designs. This is nail art gone sleek, so think negative space, cuticle adornments and delicate details on bare backgrounds.

Hair Clips = Yes!
Cute hair accessories popped up on runways at Miu Miu, Lanvin, Dolce & Gababana, Versace and more. Feel free to go full 90s/00s with hair clips decked in pearls and diamante, or just go for something sleek in plain metallics. We also spotted a few pretty headbands on models, so if you love a hair accessory, go all out.

Neon Eyes
If you thought neon makeup was just for the brave, think again—this is a trend everyone can get involved in. From House of Holland to Missoni and Marni, eyelids were streaked with acid blues, greens, orange and pink, but if you’re not ready for a full-on look, just try a thin slick of bold eye liner at the lash line.
