Home whitening. We've tried it all. From rubbing strawberries on our teeth to brushing with bicarbonate of soda, there's yet to be a trick out there that truly works for us. Oh, and the fact we drink copious amounts of coffee and red wine definitely doesn't help matters.

So, we set our Social Assistant Emma - who has always been slightly apprehensive to try a whitening toothpastes in the past - the task of using iWhite's much talked about toothpaste for a month to see if it made a difference.

Here's how she got on...

Week oneFirst impressions are that I'm delighted that the toothpaste has no microbeads in the formula and it's very smooth! My mouth is left feeling clean, fresh and my teeth feel polished and shiny. So far so good.

Week two I'm STILL drinking my daily coffee (and the odd wine) and I'm still seeing great results. The taste of the toothpaste is gentle but it still feels like it's doing the job.

Week threeSomeone actually asked me if I had my teeth whitened today in the hairdressers... If that's not a result I don't know what is.

Week fourThe tube still has toothpaste inside, so I think I can get a good few more weeks of whitening goodness from it!

Verdict It works to keep teeth free from daily stains, and over time with daily use it does in fact whiten teeth to achieve those pearly whites we are all after. You won't see results instantly, it does take a week or so for it to kick in, but that means it's gentle enough on the teeth and won't erode enamel. Want to try it for yourself? Head here.
