Do you tend to opt for more earthy, natural tones when it comes to your makeup or prefer to amp it up a little with richer, vampy colours?

Well, for this December's collector's edition box we've created two different festive looks, each designed to match one of MDMflow's signature lipstick shades.

We're also excited to reveal that alongside your lipstick, you'll also receive essence's coveted illuminating palette and a further 3 products to help you complete the perfect look for the festivities ahead!

We called upon our resident makeup artist Emma O'Byrne to show you the type of look you can create using each box...

Look 1: Sugar

Earthy, taupe nudes with brown undertones are an incredibly flattering shade for all and ideal if you're not one to slick on a bold colour. Inside the Sugar box you'll discover MDMflow's lipstick in Bossy and essence's beautiful Light Up you Face Luminizer Palette, along with 3 other products to help you complete the look.

We used the 'golden beige highlighter' in the essence palette and taking an eyeshadow brush, swirled it over the centre of the eyelids, then blended it outwards. Next, we applied the 'nude highlighter' in the essence palette along the crease of the socket and along the lower lash line to add subtle definition. Taking the 'rose highlighter' from the same palette, we used a small brush and added a little to the inner corner of the eye, under the brows, along the Cupid's bow and down the bridge of the nose, finishing up by using a buffing brush to sweep it along our cheekbone and across the forehead for a glowing, luminous finish. Next, we applied a little Browcote to keep eyebrows in place and added a few swipes of mascara to the top and bottom lashes, wiggling the wand from root to tip. Finally, slick MDMflow's lipstick in Bossy to your lips.

To amp your look up for the evening, blend an earthy/mossy green eyeshadow along the crease of your eye socket - we used Gosh Copenhagen Mono Eyeshadow in Dark Green - and then once you reach the outer corner of your eye take it downwards until it reaches your eyelashes. Blend the colour outwards using an eyeshadow brush and then continue along the lower lash line. Soften the colour by applying essence illuminating powder over the top. Then add a few slicks of Revlon Nail Enamel in Gray Suede, £4.49 - it's the perfect colour match for your lipstick!

Look 2: Spice

Deep wine lips are ubiquitous once winter rolls around and for us, this year they're totally replacing our usual ruby reds. The shade flatters any skin tone, making it one of the easiest lipstick colours to pull off. For the Spice look, we've put together the perfect edit of products to complement MDMflow's lipstick in Vamp, including a beautiful illuminating palette from essence, so you can create a complete look for the festivities ahead.

We started by applying 'rose highlighter' from essence's Light up Your Face Luminizer Palette to the inner corner of eyes, down the bridge of the nose, under the brows and along Cupid's bow.  We then swept 'nude highlighter' from the same palette across our eyelids and using a sandy coloured eyeshadow, applied it the the crease of the lid and along the top and bottom lash line. Finally, we applied an eyebrow pencil to add definition to the brows and slicked a coating of MDMflow lipstick in Vamp across our lips, topped with Lipcote to keep it in place.

A wine lip is a fairly bold statement as is, so we're adding a simple touch for the evening. Use a pencil eyeliner to careful line your eyes, creating a flick at the outer corner. To make sure the line Is perfect, go over it with an eyeliner brush after. We used the Rodial eyeliner from September's GLOSSYBOX! Then add a few slicks of Revlon Nail Enamel in Valentine, £4.49 - it's the perfect colour match for your lipstick!
