When it comes to beauty, there are brand new formulas launching on a daily basis, which makes it pretty tricky to separate the wheat from the chaff when you're strolling down aisles upon aisles of skincare, makeup and hair products. The good news is, we're here to spritz, slather and slick on the latest products for you and let you in on the undisputed bombshells of the beauty world. We even popped some of our all-time favourites in this month's Beauty Soulmates GLOSSYBOX.
So in keeping with the theme, we turned to some of our favourite bloggers and asked them to share their most highly regarding products with us...
Jen, Beauty Junkie London 'Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair, £50, guarantees that I will like my skin more in the morning than I did when I went to bed. It feels like it works some sort of magic while I sleep, without being heavy or feeling like its clogging my skin at all.'
Zoe, Zoe Newlove 'Being a beauty blogger, I have used so many hair products. From heat protectant sprays, to mud masks and to hair serums. One that I always come back to and have used for years and years is the Moroccanoil Treatment Oil, £13.45. I always have a travel-sized one for when I stay in hotels or travel abroad. As well as protecting my hair it nourishes and repairs my locks like no other product ever has. I just think it is absolutely wonderful and smells amazing too!'
Fiona, The Beauty Shortlist'Caudalie's de Vigne fragrance collection, £26, has been one of my freshest discoveries - they are bank balance friendly, light, uplifting daytime scents. Perfect to take you from the office to after dinner drinks, when you don't want to overpower your colleagues with a haze of full blown midnight-seductive perfume at 3pm just after lunch. The Zest de Vigne blend literally bursts with the essence of sweet Mediterranean lemons and the petit grain (from the leaves of bitter orange trees) rounds it out and gives it extra depth. Caudalie have captured the happiness of early summer with these - and the pretty, nature-inspired engraved bottles are a lovely touch, too.'
Sascha, Beauty Geek UK'Whenever I'm asked what my favourite product of all-time is, I always say Biologique Recherche P50, £55, as it's one of the few products that's almost always in my skincare routine, regardless of what else I'm trying. But I also love Clinique Moisture Surge, £34, for days when my skin needs a big, hydrating drink.'
Hayley, London Beauty Queen'Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfector, £18, is the best lipgloss available for a super natural finish. I love how creamy and light they are, without being too glossy or sticky. These are my go-to glosses day or night; I've got three in my favourite shade so I never have to be without. I also love Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturiser, £5.99 - I go through cans of it. I hate having to wait for my moisturiser to soak in, so this is a great alternative for mornings when I'm in a rush. It's lightweight but still hard working - plus the cocoa scent is divine.'
