All Hallow’s Eve is upon on us and it seems only right adults get to play around with makeup too. Leave the fake blood and stick on scars at the door – we are showing you how to create wearable Halloween inspired party makeup looks in no time. While we’re not sure they will fill your basket with pound coins while trick-or-treating, they will most certainly get you some compliments on those makeup skills of yours.
The (black) cat eye (10 minute look)Now now, give us a moment; we know the cat eye is nothing new, but this time, we’ve added a little twist which will leave you looking hauntingly wide-eyed. Use a liquid liner such as the Eyeko Lash Enhancing Liner in Carbon Black, £15, flick up at the sides and once dry, add a slick of Collection Glam Crystals Gel Eyeliner in Rock Chick, £2.99, on top for party pretty peepers.
The lash effect (20 minute look)I suggest you sit down for this one - these Eylure Halloween Carnival Lashes, £6.99, are ah-mazing. Inspired by a Venetian masquerade ball, they will finish off your look with the ultimate wow factor. Team with a bit of contouring using B. Sculpted Contour Kit, £10.49, a nude lip created using a chubby stick like Revlon’s Matte Balm in Enchanting Ravissante, £7.99, and be prepared for some Jaws to drop.
Vamp it up (30 minute look)Never has Goth been so chic. A black lip may seem a little intimidating but trust us; we tried it in the office and all unexpectedly loved it. Line the lips with any black eye or lip pencil, fill in with the MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer in Potent, £3, a touch of MUA Luxe Metallic Liquid Lips in Twinkle, £4, patted into the centre and with a subtle smokey eye to complement the look, you are ready to take on the (under)world.
