In need of a quick fix cover up? Concealers are without a doubt our fail-safe weapon for disguising any pesky signs of troublesome skin or tiredness - so it's essential they're one of the most reliable things in our makeup bag. After all, when a concealer truly works its magic, it has the ability to create a flawless looking complexion (even when you feel far from it) within the space of a few minutes.
So we asked some of our favourite beauty bloggers to let us in on what concealer they call upon time and time again to amp up their skin. Here's what they had to say...
Fleur, Fleur de Force'I use Collection's Lasting Perfection Concealer, £4.19, whenever I get spots as it has amazing coverage - then if I'm looking a little tired I'll also pop a bit under my eyes. It stays put for AGES and conceals everything.'
Ree, Really Ree'My top concealer is the Charlotte Tilbury Retoucher, £25. I absolutely love how it perfects, conceals and brightens, all in one. If my skin is looking a bit tired towards the end of the day, a click of this literally sorts everything!'
Emma Day, Emma Day Makeup'In my own handbag I use the Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Palette, £26.50 - when my skin is on good form I can get away with using just this and no foundation. Then for work I always use the Mac Pro concealer palettes. I have one for yellow tones and one for pink tones - they are a lovely consistency and coverage and work on most skin tones plus there are a number of shades so great for portability.'
Krista, Beauty and the Dirt'Delilah’s creamy Fade Away Concealer, £26, covers any imperfection and gives a light, natural skin-textured finish. It is enriched with moisturising ingredients to hydrate your skin, leaving it soft and flawless - and it’s so easy to use, it glides onto the skin and rubs in easily. A makeup bag must-have for any necessary top-ups during the day.'
Ella, Cocos Tea Party 'I constantly have dark circles under my eyes, and usually have a couple of concealers on rotation. I always start with Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream, which preps the area, then use Bobbi Brown corrector as a base, and then finally NARS Creamy Concealer, £22.'
Bee, IDressMyself'The Hourglass Hidden Corrective Concealer, £23, is my knight in shining armour. It gives full coverage while not caking and is really easy to blend into the skin.'
