Not for thick hair
3I, personally, didn't this brush to be a great product but I could see the potential. The bristles were nowhere near long enough and literally tickled my tresses rather than detangled them where I needed help the most. Not ideal for coarse, thick hair as the bristles are very flexible. On finer hair, it is definitely a gentle approach for combing wet hair, which at that point is more prone to breakage.
