How To Use Your Mousse
Sunday is the ideal day for practising your Christmas party look, so here are a few tips on how to make the most of your hair mousse and rock a salon-quality look.
Kit and I tried out the mousse on our different hair types. Don’t worry if you dye your locks, this product is safe to use on colour treated hair. Kit dyes hers!
Define Your Curls
Starting with damp hair, dispense a large dollop of mousse onto your palm. Then gently comb the mousse through your locks using your fingers, making sure you distribute it evenly. I applied it from mid-length to the ends, but you can also start at the root.
Next, you need to gently scrunch your hair to emphasize the curls. Then, allow to dry naturally or blow dry using a diffuser - and voilà, natural curls are more defined and extra bouncy!
Insider tip: Don't forget to shake the can well before dispensing the mousse.
Add Control And Shine
If you’ve got natural volume but need to tame your frizz, you can also use this mousse to control your locks and give them extra shine.
Begin by distributing the mousse evenly through your damp hair. You'll then want to brush your hair with a comb to straighten and detangle your locks. You can then section your hair and blow dry it using a brush to shape, soften and add controlled height. Shiny and volumised hair awaits!
