There's something undeniably satisfying about peeling a mask off your face - or even nail polish - but the thought of peeling off makeup just doesn't quite sit right with us. Or sound like something that would work, for that matter?
Say hello to the latest (and slightly odd) trend on the beauty block - peel off foundation. When we first saw it, we were admittedly sceptical but still very much intrigued. The idea is that you apply a thin layer of not4you's Real Skin Patch, a Korean product with a texture akin to gel, and create a barrier between your skin and your makeup, in turn ensuring the two don't touch.
This is said to help stop makeup clogging your pores, which is great for blemish-prone skin, but also if you're going makeup-free it'll protect your complexion from any daily aggressors like pollution. Then, the fun part, when the time comes to remove your foundation you can essentially peel your full face of makeup off.
But the question is, does it work? We've watched the countless videos on YouTube, and it's safe to say we won't be investing in it anytime soon as the results don't quite live up to expectations. Watch YouTuber Ray Boyce test it out in the video below...
