When it comes to eyeshadow, nothing beats a palette. They offer an endless array of beauty aesthetics, from a subtle dusting of daytime nude to smouldering evening hues - it's literally like having your hands on a chocolate box of eye colours.
Nude palettes have a particular soft spot in our hearts, as they're the kind you can reach for morning after morning while being anything but boring and Urban Decay's Naked 3 palette is one of our all-time favourites for its ability to create the most beautiful of smokey and minimalist looks. From smooth mattes to gleaming metallics, every colour is highly pigmented and super blendable.
Here are three of our favourite looks to create with it...
Rose-tinted We used: Buzz, Limit and Dust
Start by applying Buzz all over the top of your eyelid and to the centre of the lower lash line. Next, apply Dust to the inner corner of the lid and finish up by dabbing your makeup brush in Limit and dusting it in the crease of your lid and just under the lower lash line to add definition and shape to your eyes.Smokey We used: Blackheart, Darkside and Liar
Apply Liar to the inner part of your eyelid and then use Blackheart on the outer corner of your lid and blend the two shades in with one another. Use Darkside to add a little definition by applying it to the crease of your eyelid and finish up by applying Liar along your bottom lash line.Natural We used: Strange and Limit
Using your eyeshadow brush, apply Strange over the whole of your eyelid and then apply Limit to the inner crease of the eyelid for definition. Finally, sweep Dust over the lid, with emphasis on the inner corner and tear duct.Urban Decay Naked 3 Eyeshadow Palette, £38.50
