Colour choice

Really surprising product
5When I saw the spoiler that we would be receiving the Huda Beauty Demi-Matte lipstick, I was quite concerned as a lot of the lipsticks lean toward the more nude end of the scale. I have a lot of freckles and naturally quite red lips so quite often nude colours don’t sit right on my lips, blurring with the freckles and showing my lip colour through as they fade. I almost exclusively wear red, berry toned or black lipstick for this reason.  When I saw I had the shade Sheika I was at first disappointed, but as soon as I tried it I was thrilled to see I’d finally found a brown/pink nude that suited me! I used it with the Steve Laurant lip liner which matched perfectly and together they are now my go to fail safe for creating nude lip looks and it’s expanded my horizons a bit where it comes to the looks I can create. It’s a lovely formula with a pleasant smell, the plumping element doesn’t tingle TOO much and it   can look more glossy when more is applied or more matte when used sparingly. This is a really good lipstick and I will be re-buying in other colours. It’s also nice to know it’s in the price range of what I’m usually happy to pay for a lipstick and is very good value.
