'Be a mermaid and make waves'
5I was so excited to see which magical box I was going to receive...! Unicorn or mermaid and I received the mermaid one! I was overjoyed and so excited (and that was before I had even opened the box!) The colours of this box are just beautiful. A gorgeous ombré of purple into blue.... just stunning! The colour scheme goes through to the inside of the box including the wrapping paper and also..... the 5 full sized products....!!! This was so exciting to see! The array of colours in the products were incredible to see! The first item I grabbed out of the box was the revolution 'redemption mermaids vs unicorns' eyeshadow palette. This palette is gorgeous and it clearly inspired by mermaids and the sea with the blue and green tones on one side, then the other side inspired by unicorns with the magical sparkly purples and pinks. You can't really go wrong with this palette and you can have lots of fun with it! The next item was the 'Kawaii enterprise brush cleaning egg'....... oh my..... I have been looking at getting one of these for a while and now I have one! I received a gorgeous turquoise coloured one. This thing is AMAZING!! I have always used the palm of my hand to clean and swoosh my brushes on when cleaning them.... resulting in makeup covered wrinkly hands.....but no more!! This is a keeper! :) Next I picked out the 'sleek crème to powder blush'.... wow..... this thing is bright!!! When I first swatched it I couldn't believe how intense it was! I'm not usually a fan of creme blushers and I tend to use powder blush. I use sleek powder blushers religiously anyways so I thought it was great to have a different style blusher to try by them as I wouldn't have normally gone for it.... I was pleasantly surprised by this blush! It blends out quite nicely and does go velvety and powdery after blending for a few moments. The intensity dies down (phewww!!!!) and it's actually really lovely. I would be intrigued to try other colours from the range :) The next item I took out was the 'lord and berry MAGIC BROW perfect eyebrow pencil'. I LOVE this product. It's the perfect shade for me and I love how it defines my brows! Eyebrows are a important to me and finding good products for mine is a struggle sometimes.... but this is great! Super pigmented and goes on like a dream! Last but not least, the 'bang beauty cream colour'. I received the 'dolce pink'. This is such a versatile product! It's a lovely creamy texture and can be swiped anywhere from lips, cheeks and eyes! Also, it's quite pigmented so a little goes a long way.... plus it has great staying power and lasts all day! I really like this product! My overall verdict on this months box is fantastic! I think that they summed up mermaids vs unicorns very well with the colour schemes :) I love the fact that all of the products are make up! Also, all of them are FULL SIZE!!! This is a big bonus that I am sure all other glossies were chuffed to receive! I fell in love with a couple of products that I wouldn't normally have tried too. This is the great thing about the monthly boxes! You get to try products that you wouldn't normally go for or consider..... I have only been with glossy box a couple of months but I have found a couple of my 'go to' products that I will always be using! Thank you glossy box! :)

What a treat!
5I was so pleased with the October box, it was full of fantastic colours and makeup perfection. The eyeshadow palette is gorgeous and what’s even better is when you get a product in your box that you never even knew existed. So when I got the makeup brush cleaner I was thrilled. That’s made life so much easier.

Best Box EVER
5Every product in this moths box is fantastic!! The eyeshadow palette is a perfect mix of inspiring colours, they are vibrant and easily blended into the skin. The lipgloss is s shimmering shade, a lovely pick me up as the evenings draw in. I have been putting off flaming my brushes for a while-thanks GlossyBox for the hint-it was so easy to do. Can’t review the box without mentioning the design. I loved it!! I was so impressed with this box, I tried to order another for my daughter but it had already sold out. Well done GlossyBox, can’t wait for next months.

4October’s box was nothing short of fabulous! I feel very ‘Ariel’ from little mermaid this month with these goodies!! I have warm glowing cheeks courtesy of Sleék Creme to powder blush. This gives such a radiant warm look and is very lightweight on the skin and is long lasting. Love this product and would definitely recommend! Next is the Revolution eyeshadow palette. This palette is bold and beautiful with striking expressive colours. Highly pigmented with very little any fall out!! Can’t wait to start using these colours to create some new looks! My eyebrows have been pampered and perfectly defined with the Lord and Berry magic brow perfect pencil! This is so creamy and rich in colour, it is very long lasting and I can’t remember the last time I had such an amazing eyebrow pencil!! To top it all off was the amazing makeup bag multiplayer by Bang Beauty. This creme lip colour, creme blush and eyeshadow in one is an absolute winner for me. It is so lightweight, and long lasting even on the lips! This product makes my lips feel soft and the colour is very deep and rich, it’s just beautiful! 100% recommended! Then we got the Brushegg Kawaii Enterprise Brish Cleansing Egg to clean your makeup brushes for flawless skin and reduced skin outbreaks. This Egg is extremely gentle on the brushes it hasn’t damaged any of my brushes, and at the same time it has cleaned the brushes thoroughly to the point some of them look new! Again I would 100% recommend! No disappointment from this box or any of its products! Thanks Glossybox!!

So pretty...
5I got the unicorn box this month. It's probably gone down better with my children than anyone else because it's beautiful. They were fighting over the box and packaging before I even opened it! The eyeshadow palette is full of colours I love but don't normally buy and it's a real treat. The brush cleaner is something I wouldn't normally buy but it's really useful and I'm glad it came this month as my kit was starting to look a bit Halloween. The pencil is a little hard but a good colour for people who are paler, blonde or grey. It suits me. The blush and pot of colour are great - creamy, luxurious and really easy to apply. All in all, a win win.

5I recieved the mermaid box this month. It is BEAUTIFUL!! The revolution eye palette has so much pigmentation. I love this month's box. I just wish I had the unicorn box as well. Lush :)
